I'm encountering similar 502 Gateway Error (typing my site w/o 'www'), but really had a doubt if it's a server side or just a setting on my blogging platform. It appears I already set everything right, yet it still return the same error... grrr...

Profile filters are permanent (destructive). Everything that was left out is gone for good. You can not get the data back by removing the filter. You should therefore be careful when applying a filter. Create a new profile to test your new filter. If you make a mistake, you have your other profiles to get the data from. See this article for more information: http://www.advanced-web-metrics.com/blog/2009/12/09/how-to-choose-between-advanced-segments-versus-profile-filters-in-google-analytics/

Another useful and modern Perl resource is <a href="http://perl-begin.org/" rel="nofollow">the Perl Beginners Site (Perl-Begin.org)</a>. It is a first-stop portal for Perl beginners (with some material that's useful for more advanced Perlers), that is up-to-date and actively maintained and expanded, and is available with its source code under an open-content Creative Commons Attribution (CC-by) licence. I hope you like it.
